Part 2 of the London haul has arrived! Last week was all about Zoella Beauty and this week I’m also focussing on 1 particular brand: Soap and Glory!
I didn’t know this brand until Katia from Beautyminded (aka my Belgian Beauty Enabler, Anna from Vivianna Does Makeup is her British counterpart) tweeted that I should definitely check it out while I was in London. I went to Boots and bought the following products…
You can never have too much hand cream. I have tubes (from mini to regular) all over the place: my desk, my bag, the living room, … Just like a lip balm, it’s something I always like to have around. Hand Food is Soap and Glory’s hand cream and it comes in a variety of sizes, I got the regular tube which is 125 ml.
I do like the one with the pump as well! I really really like this hand cream, it’s absorbed easily and not greasy or sticky at all. Great for regular everyday use, no need to wait around until you can use your hands again. And the smell? Love. The fragrance is “Original Pink”, it’s so sweet yet fresh, it was love at first smell!
£5,50
If only they had a product with that same beautiful smell for the body… The Righteous Butter: at your service!
Now this is a luscious, thick body lotion that you really have to massage into your skin for a while, but the result is quite amazing.
You don’t need much to get real smooth skin, so I think it will take a while to use the whole 300 ml, yay!
That’s it for body care, some skin care now…
I’m having a mask moment and the Fab Pore 2-in-1 Facial Pore Purifying Mask & Peel (try saying that in a hurry) is my mask of choice at the moment.
You can use it once week for a bit of detox action, or more (up to 3 times) to target some breakouts. Simply apply to the skin and leave it on for 15 minutes if you want to cleanse deeply or just 5 if your skin just needs a little pick me up.
Once applied you really feel the mask do its thing. It feels cool and not drying whatsoever.
Afterwards my skin feels soft and smooth. Until now (about 3 weeks of use) I can’t say I really see a difference in the visibility of my pores but I’ll give it some time.
£10,50
A product for daily use now: Scrubatomic Amazing Daily Face Polish.
I haven’t used this one yet, but it’s a gentle, smoothing exfoliator for all skin types.
The last Soap and Glory product that made its way into my Boots basket is the Ultimelt Deep Purifying Hot Cloth Cleanser.
I got this deep cleanser because the description, and the whole “hot cloth” thing, made it sounds like an at home spa experience in a tube. And that’s a good thing, right?
You’re supposed to massage it into your skin for about 2 minutes and remove (“press off”) with a warm, wet cloth. This one has also not been used yet, but I’m very curious!
£10,00
So far I’ve tried 3 out 5 Soap and Glory products and they’ve really impressed me, especially considering the prices. I will put Soap and Glory on every London shopping list! Or maybe Boots could consider shipping Soap and Glory to Belgium?
Next week I will post the rest of my London drugstore haul, see you then!
That’s a lot of Soap and Glory! I think I tried a sample packet of one of their body lotions, but I didn’t like the scent too much. Maybe I’ll give something else a go 🙂
The prices are no obstacle so definitely give them another chance 🙂
