It’s finally here, people, the last part of the London Haul extravaganza (take a look here, and here, and here and maybe here too)! I saved the best for last… Charlotte Tilbury!
For those of you who don’t know Charlotte Tilbury, she is one of the biggest names in make up artistry. When she announced the release of her own line of products beauty lovers all over the world went into a frenzy and rightly so.
In the UK it’s exclusively available at Selfridges, so I hunted down some products at the counter there.
The first product on my list was the Filmstar Bronze & Glow palette.
There are 2 shades in this palette, a sculpting shade (a bronzer) and a highlighting shade.
The packaging is absolutely gorgeous, it’s everything you would expect for this price. I love that it comes with some explanation on how to use it.
Let’s take a closer look at the shades.
The sculpt shade is not too orange or dark, it’s perfect for a subtle bronze effect. The highlight shade is perfection. Not too shimmery, just the perfect gold luminous powder. This palette is one shade fits all, how crazy is that?!
First impression? I’m in love. From the packaging to the textures and the shades, this is what a bronzer and highlighter are supposed to be. It’s so easy to use, you can build it up as you like which makes it difficult to go over the top. Anyone who feels like they’re just missing that extra step when it comes to their complexion should check this out. And it’s pretty. So pretty.
Up next on the wish list? A blush. I’ve never really loved any blush I’ve used. They can be too powdery, too pink, too shimmery,… and it can ruin your whole look. But when you find the right one… It’s a game changer. And boy, did this Cheek to Chic Blusher change the blush game for me!
I asked for a natural shade that’s not too pink. I’m pale and for some people that seems to translate to “she needs a pink blush” but I much prefer peach or coral shades, they work so much better.
First Love was suggested and applied and it was love at first sight (no pun intended).
First impression? Best blush ever. It’s so easy to use, you can not go wrong. It blends beautifully and the shade is perfect. I was just a little bit disappointed with the packaging, especially compared to the Filmstar Bronze & Glow palette.
I didn’t really plan on buying a lipstick, but just before our trip some new products hit the counter: the Matte Revolution Lipsticks. And you know I’m a sucker for matte lipsticks so I think you can see where this is going…
Because I already have quite a few bold, matte lip products I changed it up a bit and asked for a neutral shade. A neutral, matte shade can be tricky because neutral lips and matte don’t actually add up, but trust me, if anyone can do it, it’s Charlotte Tilbury.
We narrowed our selection down to 2 shades: Sexy Sienna and Amazing Grace. As soon as Amazing Grace was on my lips I knew this was the one. But just to be sure I tried Sexy Sienna as well and this was not a good shade for me. So yay, Amazing Grace! Unfortunately it was sold out! Bummer. They told me it would be back on Saturday, so yes, we went back, I just had to have it.
First impression? If you’re looking for a matte lipstick that doesn’t look or feel dry, have a look at these. The texture is amazing, as is the packaging by the way. The shade is a stunner, it’s not nude, but it’s not exactly pink either. It’s rose perfection. For me, this is the definition of My Lips But Better.
Final thoughts? Charlotte Tilbury is a make up goddess. You would think these products appeal especially to beauty lovers but I actually think they are perfect for beginners! The textures guarantee a foolproof application and I could easily imagine any beginner could go a long way with some key products from this range.
The products aren’t cheap, but they’re definitely not the most expensive either. I think you really get value for money here.
All 3 products are huge hits for me and next time I’m in London I will be back at the CT counter! Glastonberry is very high on my wish list…
And there we have it, the London Haul! See you next time!
This is a nice haul! I am yet to try something from CT’s makeup line. The packaging of the bronzer/highlighter is absolutely stunning!

Glam O’Clock | TOO FACED GIVEAWAY
It is! You should definitely check it out when you get the chance, I’m so impressed!
I am a fan, I’ve got two eye pencils from her but you’re right, it is a quite expensive brand!
But it’s worth the price!
Hey Eva, great picks! I haven’t tried anything because I can’t seem to find anything that I feel is a must-have. I probably will cave in one day to my curiosity tho!
Blasphemy! I love all 3, but the blush was the biggest surprise to me, it’s amazing.
I love Charlotte Tilbury make-up. Got a few this but next time I’m in Londen I definitely pick up some more
Same here, I need more!
